Part of the PowerWatt^TM series of high power density DC/DC converters, the Q75 Quarterbrick Series is a family of 75W single-output DC/DC converters that feature input voltage ranges of 18Vin to 36Vin and 36Vin to 72Vin and output voltages from a low of 1.8Vout to a high of 24Vout. Their high efficiency and power density are a result of innovative patented designs utilizing improved synchronous rectification techniques and planar magnetics. The thermal resistance from the semiconductor and its planar magnetics to the case is minimized by the nickel-plated aluminum case and proprietary potting material. The aluminum heat sink further reduces the thermal resistance from case to ambient. The converter also offers six-sided shielding to eliminate EMI and RFI, resulting in an ideal power source for applications that require low radiated noise. Applications include Electronic Data Processing (EDP); Computers; Fiber Optics; and Instrumentation, Industrial, Medical and Communications equipment.
