Part of the PowerWatt^TM line, the 60W series of dual output DC/DC converters comes in a 2.3×1.2×0.4-inch package. Their high efficiency and high power density is a result of patented designs utilizing improved synchronous rectification techniques and planar magnetics. The converters accept 24Vin or 48Vin with an output range from 5Vout to subvolt range with twelve standard models. The main output can deliver the full power of 60W, while Vo2 is current limited to 10A of Io2. High efficiency, coupled with a multilayer PCB and thermal management, minimizes power dissipation and allow the converters to operate without an external heat sink. The through-hole pins allow for low-cost installation and act as an integrated heat sink for the converters.
