Bridgewater, MA - Beta Dyne announces two
new switching regulators. The SR40 & SR80 are constant frequency,
current mode step-up converters with excellent line and load regulation
and efficiency up to 95%. The SR40 accepts 5-10V input and provides 9, 12,
15, 18 and 24Vdc output. The SR80 accepts 10-18V input and provides 15, 18
and 24Vdc output. The SR40 delivers 40W to the load, while the SR80
delivers 80W. High switching frequency and SMD technology makes achieving
high power density, low cost and high reliability possible. The SR80
requires a low impedance power source or minimum 2000µF input and 1000µF
output capacitors for proper operation. Features include wide input range
(5-18V), input undervoltage protection, external synchronization, 300kHz
constant frequency, 44W/cu. in. power density, and six-sided shielding.
The package size of both models is 2"×2"×0.5". Ideal
applications include Battery Chargers/Backup Systems, External Modems,
xDSL Power Supplies, Telecom Hardware, LAN and Network Systems, and
Point-of-Sale (POS) Systems. Units are available 4-6 weeks ARO. Pricing
for both models starts at $65.00 each, discounts available for larger
quantities.
