Bridgewater, MA - Beta Dyne is proud to introduce a new member of our PowerWatt family of DC/DC converters: a series of 40W DC/DC converters that feature an industry standard pinout in a 2.3×0.78×0.38in. 1/8-brick package. A unique feature of the new converter is its 25µS transient response that approaches that of non-isolated, step-down converters. Patented technology coupled with SMD and planar magnetics makes it possible to offer a converter with 60W/cu. in. power density. Standard features include efficiency up to 91%, 150µA off state current, thermal and undervoltage protection, output synchronous rectification, 2:1 input voltage range, input-to-output isolation, soft start, external synchronization, and short circuit protection. The converter is ideal for Electronic Data Processing (EDP), Instrumentation, Industrial, Medical, Communications, Computers, and Fiber Optics. Units are available 4-6 weeks ARO. Pricing is $48.30 each in OEM quantities.
