Bridgewater, MA - Beta Dyne Inc is proud to announce an update of its family of 150W High-Voltage DC/DC Converters. The series has undergone several changes beginning with an expansion in the number of models, an increase in power output, improved efficiency and a lower price.

The series originally consisted of six single output models and offered no dual output models. With this update, there are now 12 single and 12 dual output models for a total of 24 models.

The converters accept 12, 24 or 48Vdc input (2:1 input voltage range) and produce a regulated 12, 15, 48 or 75Vdc (48Vdc@3A, 75Vdc@2A) output with an adjustable range of ±5%.

The refresh also brings about a bump in power output. Models offering up to 200W (Vin limited to 48Vdc only) are available upon request.

The flexibility of the converters' design allows for custom input and output voltage combinations (Customers may contact factory for custom configurations). The converters feature up to 92% efficiency, 1500Vdc input-to-output isolation, 2:1 input voltage range, input undervoltage protection, output overvoltage protection, soft start, adjustable output, 300KHz switching frequency, thermal protection, and six-sided shielding.

The high switching frequency of 300KHz, SMD design, and thermal management improve efficiency and reliability. The converters are designed and thoroughly tested for an input-to-output isolation of 1500Vdc.

The converters are housed in a black coated copper case with six-sided shielding that measures 3.00 x 2.56 x 0.75 inches (76.20 x 65.02 x 19.05mm) (LxWxH) and weighs 7.87 oz. (223g).

The series is ideal for telecommunications equipment that use a 48V supply. The converters can also be used in applications where a bipolar ±24Vdc or ±37.5Vdc is required.

Units are available 4-6 weeks ARO. Prices start at $134.10 each (was originally $149.00); discounts available for larger quantities.
